GALILEO INNOVATION FESTIVAL

Padova is undoubtedly the city of Galileo Galilei, commonly referred to as the “father of modern observational astronomy”, the “father of modern physics”, the “father of modern science”. Padova is also home to its famous University, founded in 1222 and one of the most prominent universities in early modern Europe. Galileo Festival takes on their legacy to gather major national and international experiences in the fields of innovation and technology transfer. The event features lectures, conferences, workshops and round tables with the aim of enhancing the cooperation between academics and the world of business.
International students will have the opportunity to:
- visit innovative companies and meet professionals
- visit the city of Padova: University, Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel, Prato della Valle, the Biodiversity Garden (UNESCO World Heritage site);
- visit the city of Venice
International study tours start on Thursday 15 April and include fullboard accomodation for the whole duration of the event; bus transfers; special program of activities; recreational events; scientific publications.
