PORDENONELEGGE LITERATURE FESTIVAL

With over 130,000 visitors, 365 authors, 500 guests and 250 events, Pordenonelegge has transformed the city of Pordenone into the new Italian capital of literature, thus carrying on the legacy of renowned Italian authors and intellectuals such as Ippolito Nievo and Pier Paolo Pasolini, who were born or resided in the area. Defined as a “feast of books”, Pordenonelegge gathers world’s most famous authors. Just to mention a few of last year’s speakers: Margaret Atwood, Fedrik Backman, Ulrich Beck, Michael Dobbs, Umberto Eco, Alan Friedman, David Grossman, Hannah Kent, Hanif Kureishi, Hakan Nesser.
International students will have the opportunity to:
- meet international authors and intellectuals
- visit the city of Pordenone and its surrounding beauties: Aquileia, Casarsa della Delizia and Villa Manin
- visit the city of Venice
International study tours start on Thursday 17 September and include full-board accomodation for the whole duration of the event; bus transfers; special program of activities; recreational events; scientific publications.
